Ragusa Province Program

The Ragusa Province Program is a combination of a standard language course and activities (excursions, walk,  movie) to discover the Ragusa Province and its charm. This program has been organised in conjunction with The King Tour and lasts for two weeks. If you wish to pursue another or cultural course you only have to ask.

The Ragusa Province Program starts on: 23th March 2009 -18th May 2009 – 19th October 2009. It's needed to book one month before. Minimum number of partecipants: 6. For groups (minimum 6 students): you can choose when attend this programs.

THE PROGRAM:
- STANDARD COURSE: (2Weeks per 40hours - 20 hours per week – 4 hours per day)
- 1 GATRONOMIC&WINE TOUR: cheese farm, vineyard, oil farm. In each farm you'll sample the product. This tour literally awakes all of your five senses, the sense of smell will be enlightened by the sweet Iblean countryside perfumes, while the air filled with the melodious chirping of sparrows will make you cheer, and the exquisite products prepared by skillful local workers in the footsteps of ancient traditions, exalts its flavour.
-1 EXCURSION TO THE BAROQUE BY NIGHT: with a chocolate testing in Modica. The UNESCO town of Modica, during the night with more charm, with its famous chocolate industry, wide boulevards, churches, narrow alleys.
-1 EXCURSION TO THE JEWEL OF VAL DI NOTO: the sweet Ibla starting from the old military district, making our way through the narrow alleys until we reach the interesting Ibean gardens, with its particular collection of Cyprus trees           
-1 EXCURSION TO THE MEDIEVAL VILLAGE OF CHIARAMONTE AND ITS EIGHT ETHNOLOGICAL MUSESUM: this village is called “Sicilian balcony”, for its amazing panoramic view.           
-1 EXCURSION TO THE CASTELLO DI DONNAFUGATA AND THE MUSEUM OF KAMERINA.
The eccentric 9th century Baron Corrado Arezzo, used the neo-gothic style, which was in vogue at the time. The labyrinth of gardens at the back of the Castle can also be attributed to the Baron. The museum contains remnants of the political, civil and economic history of the city of Kamarina, the urban development, and other important monuments and art collections.
