Sicilian writers program

The SICILIAN WRITERS PROGRAM is a combination of a standard language course and a range of activities to discover where sicilian literature become reality. You will visit the homes and the cities where the writers as Pirandello, Verga, Quasimodo born, lives, and set some of their novel. Also is a pretext to find people with the interest and love for the literature and the Sicily. At least two movies shooted in Sicily. Can attend this program students who has a good knowledge of  italian language.

This program has been organised in conjunction with Eracle Travels and lasts for two weeks.

SICILIAN WRITERS PROGRAM stars on: 6th April 2009- 15th June 2009 – 21th september 2009. It's needed to book one month before. Minimum number of partecipants: 6. For groups (minimum 6 students): you can choose when attend this programs.

THE PROGRAM:
- STANDARD COURSE: 2Weeks per 20hours – 10 hours per week – 2 hours per day           
- SICILIAN LITERATURE COURSE: 2Weeks per 20hours – 10 hours per week – 2 hours per day           
- 1 HALF DAY EXCURSION to Modica and to the Nobel Prize for Literature Salvatore Quasimodo's house           
- 1 HALF DAY EXCURSION to Vizzini in the place of Cavalerria Rusticana, the novel by Giovanni Verga and the opera by Pietro Mascagni
- 1 FULL DAY EXCURSION to Siracusa: the town of Elio Vittorini and not only           
- 1 FULL DAY EXCURSION to the Nobel Prize Luigi Pirandello's house and to the Valle dei Templi of Agrigento           
- 1 FULL DAY EXCURSION to Acitrezza and Catania: the Malavoglia village and the Giovanni Verga's home           
- 2 italians movie inspired of novel by sicilian writers

THE COST:
-Sicilian writers program: 850€

Note:
-The price include the transfer to the excursions, the ticket to the sicilian writers's home, the Valle dei Templi, the Greak Area in Siracusa. The price not include everything is not in “the program's” list.

-If one month before of "start date" less than 6 person will book this program we will refund you the deposit
